I would like to build an airplay receiver using the pHAT DAC wireless audio kit. It says it includes everything I need but I was under the impression the raspberry Pi needs an sd card. Is that not the case in this project?
You’re correct in assuming that the Raspberry Pi Zero requires a Micro SD card, however, one does not ship with the Pi Zero Project kits.
No fears however, since it’s relatively simple to find a pre-installed card or flash your own!
You can find a pre-installed NOOBS 8GB card from the Pimoroni store here, or you could follow this guide in order to flash any of your own cards!
