Need help: Rainbow HAT + Android Things Tensorflow sample

Hi,

I want to test : https://github.com/androidthings/sample-tensorflow-imageclassifier/blob/master/rpi3_schematics_tf.png

As the Raspberry Pi camera is sticking out on the top, I could not put the Rainbow Hat on the board. So I tried just connecting the terminals (specified in the above schematics) between the RPi and Rainbow Hat using some jumper wires.

I found that the LED goes on when it is ready. But, I could not get the capacitive switch A to function. Is there is any other terminals that I need to connect ? Please help.

these are the pins used by the rainbow HAT:

… the switches use a single discrete pin so I’d be at a loss to think what could be wrong as long as your connection to bcm21 is sane.
