OnOff SHIM compatible with Waveshare 3.5inch RPi LCD (B)

I’m using a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B V1.2 together with a Waveshare 3.5inch RPi LCD (B) in a project. I’m considering adding a Pimoroni OnOff SHIM as a quick and easy way to get a power on/off button. However there are some overlapping pins which can be seen here: https://www.waveshare.com/wiki/3.5inch_RPi_LCD_(B)#Interface_definition

Before buying the OnOff SHIM, and potentially messing something up, I wanted to ask if somebody knows off hand if this combination is OK or not?

As you said, there are some overlapping pins, well, it is a single pin that causes problems: GPIO17 (physical 11) is used for the button and the touch interrupt.

So no chance to use this shim with the waveshare.
