OnOffShim does blink when button pressed but not shut down

Hello,

Using a Raspi3+ with an OnOffShim and a button. If i push the button the Raspi boots up ok but when i try to shut dow the PI the LED blinks but nothing happens.

Installer was run and /lib/systemd/system-shutdown/ contains the gpio-poweroff script

I have to ask the obvious. ;)
Soldered to a header?
Power supply plugged into on off shim?
