If you keep editing and running from Thonny I think the garbage collection cannot keep up. This eventually corrupts your code, screen buffer or variables. I now start a session with, flash-nuke.uf2 then pimoroni.uf2. This seems to help.
The longer the script you are editing the worse the problem appears to be.
@Bouffski I have plans to buy a couple of Captain Resstti’s. For now I just use a jumper to ground the run pin. Saves me from having to unplug the USB cable.
