Power rpi4 from hard disk

I have a sata disk in a an enclosure to convert it to usb 3.
Can I power the rpi from this or do i need a separate usbc power supply?

That depends on what Pi and the current rating of the power supply.

EDIT: Just noticed the reference to a Pi 4 in the thread title. I wouldn’t do it, IMHO your just asking for problems. Especially if its a mechanical spinner drive and not an SSD.
