I wanted to utilize a shutdown button mod on the Raspberry Pi that involves shorting out a ground and another pin. Since the screen I have is non-touch could I use one of the pins reserved for touch and a ground without hurting the screen? I have GPIO splitter.

I was thinking 13 and 14 or 19 and 20?
That pinout is also a different screen then my 4" square but I could not find one for the one I own.
