I’ve had an original Adafruit PiTFT (for Pi B, 2.8") for a while now, but a while ago it was in my bag (unprotected) and must have had some form of impact, and the digitiser and LCD both cracked. Since the board is all soldered up nicely (and probably costs a bit too), I wondered if it would be possible to just purchase a replacement LCD unit?
Alternatively, do you have the part number for the LCD so I can try and source it from eBay, Alibaba or similar?
