I have several DP2 working fine on the original Pico H which are mounted on the dual decker PCBs that you sell. Are the DP2 compatible with the Pico 2 assuming I download the updated uf2 file for the 2350? If not, will the 2.8 display packs fit on the dual decker with a Pico 2?
Thank you for any info that you can provide.
Yes, I have used Display Pack’s, and the Display Pack 2 and 2.8 with Pico 2’s. If you plug the Pico in first, you can plug a Display Pack 2.8 into a Omnibus.
Also , the product page for the Display Pack 2.8 shows the following. You have to scroll down a bit to see it. ;)
- Pico Display 2.8" won’t work at all with Pico Decker, (the connectors on the underside get in the way of the pin headers). It will (just!) fit alongside a Pico that’s plugged into a Pico Omnibus, but be careful when you’re plugging/unplugging it.

- Pico Display will also work with other Pico-shaped, pin-compatible boards, such as:
- Raspberry Pi Pico W
- Raspberry Pico 2
- Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W
- Pimoroni Pico LiPo
- Pimoroni Pico Plus 2
- Pimoroni Pico Plus 2 W
Thank you for the info!
Your welcome, I think I have tried every one of those pin compatible boards listed on the Omni Bus. =)
Thus, you can maximize the distance by using header extensions and then you can use it again. It‘s just a physical problem, no electrical or logical one…
That was a clip and past from the product page. ;)
Still good to know you could do it if need be.
We discussed this a back in December and @Tonygo2 tried it out and confirmed - afair.
I’m guessing these were used,
Pico Stacking Header Pack
I have 1 Decker and 3 Omni’s. I use the Omni’s the most.
yes, follow this thread over here… kudos to @Tonygo2
