I am considering using the Yukon for my next project. I am concerned about the lack of new development and the price reduction. Is the price reduced because the Yukon will be discontinued?

We’ve no plans to discontinue Yukon at present - as @alphanumeric says, lots of things are currently discounted in our birthday sale.
What new development would you like to see?
Accelerometers, gyroscopes, and magnetometers
You could use the LSM6DS3 accelerometer/gyro found on Multi-Sensor Stick with Yukon - there’s a MicroPython driver for that here.
Are you trying to get something specific working?
I am using Pimoroni Servo 2040 for a walking robot. The wiring is a rat’s nest. Should be better with a Yukon.
Need an audio amplifier with direct audio input for Talkie LPC PWM.
The present chassis is 50mm x 100mm.
Yukon already has a very capable audio amplifier using I2S. PWM driving of an amplifier is an inferior approach and Talkie LPC should add support for I2S.
Or you can wire up your own PWM Amp using the proto module.
