0.96" SPI Colour LCD (160x80) doesnt work

Hi everybody.
Can you help me with my new LCD? I installed the complete package from github, I can run some examples but the Display only blinks one time. I read some threads and checked the BCM 18 or 19 pin, but with no success. Are the connection right in the images?

The result:

Hopefully you can see the relatable pins.

Thank you very much

Looks Ok to me but it is a bit hard to follow each wire? Maybe post what color wire is connected to what pin?

  • 3-5V to any 5V or 3V pin > Blue
  • CS to BCM 8 > Yellow
  • SCK to BCM 11 > etc?
  • MOSI to BCM 10
  • DC to BCM 9
  • BL to BCM 18
  • GND to any ground pin

The cables are connected like the instruction:

  • 3-5V to any 5V or 3V pin (blue)
  • CS to BCM 8 (yellow)
  • SCK to BCM 11 (white)
  • MOSI to BCM 10 (green)
  • DC to BCM 9 (purple)
  • BL to BCM 18 (red)
  • GND to any ground pin (grey)

Greets

Ok thanks for that, that helps a lot, for me it does anyway with my eyes etc.
Wiring looks OK to me.
I assume so but have to ask the obvious question, is the male header soldered to the display?

Yes :)

Looks like a good job soldering too. =)
I don’t know what your issue is though? There are several similar threads on the go on this.
Maybe one of those has an answer?
