Black HAT Hack3r GPIO protection

Hi,

I am back but this time it’s not for a project, just need to ask a question.

I think it can be harmful for the GPIO pins to manipulate them with the Raspberry Pi on. I have always a Black HAT Hack3r conected so, being when I have a HAT connected the only exception, there are always 80 pins exposed to any accident. Is there anyway to protect them?

I am not talking about electrical protection, zener diodes and so on (I already bought the last RasP.iO kickstarter board) I am just talking about accidental touch.

I am thinking about some female-female header to use as a cap. What do you think?

Regards.
