I have built a new picade 10 and everything as worked smoothly until I have installed the picade software as described with the following command curl https://get.pimoroni.com/picadehat | bash.
After that I cannot see nothing on the screen, screen is just black, before installing picade software retropie booted correctly presenting button mapping welcome screen
Thank You

I have the same issue, though I never get to the mapping screen. Retropie starts and I can push F4 and exit out to the command prompt, so I know the screen is working and so is the pi4.
I have booted the device with HDMI safe mode, thinking maybe the retropie’s screen resolution was at fault, but same thing. Additionally I can get into the prompt like retropie setup screen.
Hoping to figure out a similar issue.
Having the same issue. I can get the console to show up with F4 but I can’t see retropie and when I launch pico-8 I can hear the sounds play but I can’t see anything. It’s almost like its being rendered to the “wrong display”. Can’t seem to find any answers about this.
