Hello,
Im having trouble figuring out the correct button mapping on the Picade. I have the older version of the picade with the two volume buttons on the left.
The issue being, the way I have it mapped now I cant exit any games. Id rather start fresh, the right way.
Is there a visual layout of the correct button mapping for the Picade?
Thanks
I think most people use this (myself included)
This doesnt work for me for some reason because when I map up/down/left/right using the joystick on config this is what ‘keys’ it says the joystick is mapping to:
D-Pad UP - KEY LEFT SHIFT
D-Pad DOWN - KEY SPACE
D-Pad LEFT - KEY LEFT CTRL
D-Pad RIGHT - KEY LEFT ALT
START - KEY S
SELECT - KEY C
A - KEY RIGHT
B - KEY LEFT
…wait… This doesn’t make sense. Ive double checked my wiring and everything look correct. But why is A button ‘reading’ as KEY RIGHT?
Yeah… you guessed it… I wired it wrong. I rewired it.
BUT im still having issues of no “Coin” button.
My setup is different than the schematic above because I don’t have a power button and I have two volume buttons (this is a Gen1 Picade).
Everything matches up as above but my two lower front buttons when hit map as S and C (Not O and I). Everything else matches up.
