Installed the hat on a Pi400 and have attached antenna. Tried a variety of sim cards (giffgaff and sky) but only get a solid green light. Tutorial suggests it should be blinking.
AT command in minicom says OK but nothing else works
SIM not in or APN issue.
Can you post your peers clipper file, secrets file ( password changed to ****) and gprs file.
in minicom can you send other commands such as
at+csq?
this is should two sets of numbers.
AT+CPING=“www.baidu.com”,1,4,64,1000,10000,255
that should do a ping test
I have been having issues as well, maybe some of this will help you.
The APN for giffgaff is giffgaff.com, username g and password p!!
But I’ve given up bashing head against wall here and have ordered some of the 1NCE Sims that were being supplied for free. Hopefully the clipper getting started guide will then work!
