Display Pack 2.8" SP/CE port help

I have looked at the schematic for the DP 2.8" but I am still unsure if I can connect my Pimoroni Pico Plus 2 to the DP 2.8 via the SP/CE cable.

I am unable to plug my pico into the rear of the screen over the long term as it is required to be plugged into a Kitronik Air Quality Board.

If the answer is no, then I guess I can use the broken out SPI0 on the Air quality board for the display …

The SP/CE connector on the Display Pack is outbound only, i.e. it is used to expose some Pico pins for external use.

@bablokb is correct. In theory though you could turn the port from an outbound to an inbound by jumpering the wires of the SP/CE connector over to the display’s output. Using something like this Pico Proto

Thats not a bad idea so ill keep it in mind, but it would be just as easy to use a connection to SPI0.
