Longevity of Unicorn matrix panels

Ahoy pirates at Pimoroni and fellow bucaneers!
First let me express that I love the products I bought from you throughout the last years. You are doing a great job!
But one thing has not worked out as expected: I bought a Cosmic Unicorn about one year ago and used it as a clock display in my office so that it has been running 24/7 since then. These days I noticed that several LED - half a column to be precise - has started to show wrong colors. It seems that the blue LED in each Pixel seem to be on permanently. Has anybody else encountered that phenomenon? TBH - having some HUB75 displays around with a much longer active lifetime I am a little bit disappointed by that early failure.

I have a Galactic Unicorn that I’ve had for a long while. If I remember correctly it was a pre-production model that they sent me to test and tinker with. It’s been running 24/7 displaying text messages for over a year. No issues with LED’s so far.
I also have a Stellar Unicorn that gets used off and on. It’s currently running the 80’s super computer animation. All OK as near as I can tell.
I don’t think your failure is any kind of trend, just bad luck IMHO.
