My raspberry Pi nano W2 is not sensing the Picade USB audio card

My raspberry Pi nano W2 is not sensing the Picade USB audio card. The status light is green and blinking every second but there is no audio icon on the desktop. Please, point me to the setup instructions. Thank you.

A search for the above turned up nothing? Is that a Pi Zero 2 W?

If it is a Pi-Zero type device, you will need an USB-OTG adapter for the USB-plug. Does not cost much, and a suitable cable is often sold together with the Pi-Zero (2,W).

I have a small plug-adapter:

Note that I had to grind down the right side of the plug to make it fit.

Oops. Yes. Raspberry Pi Zero.

Thanks for the info. I do have a micro usb to usb c cable.

So, no speaker icon?

Status LED

  • Red - Lights up when board is muted
  • Green - Should idle blink at 1s intervals, and flash quickly when audio is streaming
  • Blue - Brightness indicates volume

Did you by chance also buy this?

I’m not sure if its needed to make it work?

I just ordered the Picade Max USB Audio Card and the Encoder. I won’t have it for at least a week though.

This won’t help if it is not OTG enabled on the micro usb side.

Thanks man! That was it. Appreciate it.
