Official 7” Raspberry Pi Touch Screen problem

Hi. I bought a 7” Raspberry Pi Touch Screen last September. It used to work fine for a while. Without changing anything while booting the screen starts to go white for a couple of seconds and then changes to white and light grey stripes. Over HDMI everything works fine. Tried latest Raspbian, OSMC and Openelec. Changed all USB power devices and cables :-(

I followed your guide regarding all the connectors. Reattaching them still didn’t help . Any ideas?

That definitely sounds like what happens if the power is cut or the ribbon cables are not well seated. However since you’ve had it working for so long it’s less likely.

Could you send us a photo of the full setup? Are you sure nothing has changed (not using any new peripherals/addons)?
