OnOffShim not really turning off

Hi!

I’m very new to raspberry and specifically to soldering and I’m trying to understand if things are not working as expected because of a bad soldering job or maybe other issues…

Here’s what you can see in this video:

  1. Pi turns on when I connect the powerbank
  2. Then long pressing the button and turns off the pi. The shutdown is happening because I know the app that was running is being closed. However the LED on the pi is still on.
  3. Short presses on the button do not turn on the pi back on

Also not in the video - the battery light is still on even after the shutdown, which also suggest that power is still being consumed by the pi.

I tried reflowing / resoldering yesterday however I’m afraid to damage the board (if I didn’t already do that :((((( )

I would appreciate any help someone can provide here. Thank you so much!

Here’s also a side photo

You soldering is not very good. IMHO, it needs to be redone properly.

I’m thinking you likely have a cold solder joint / poor connection.
