I have made a Pi 4B controlled kefir maker, using a single wire temperature sensor and the pi-mote wireless controlled mains plug to control a heater. It used 12 GPIO pins including power. It all works fine but is connected together with jumper leads and breadboards. I want to make up some proper conectors. I have tried soldering but its all a bit too tiny for me.
