The Picade Hat is a very nice bit of kit. The big thing now is in 2 player bartop arcades, so it would be very nice if there was a 2 player Picade Hat . yes you can use a ipac or other keyboard emulator, but with the sound and soft power options as well as room for led lighting, it would indeed be perfect .
Oooh imagine a 2 player Picade cabinet.
I think our go-to solution at the moment would be to use a USB Picade PCB in conjunction with a Picade HAT. They should co-exist quite happily if the PCB is set up to use gamepad mode.
We’ve definitely entertained the idea of two-player boards, though, but I don’t think anything is in the pipeline yet!
