Hi - I know Batocera isn’t the preferred gaming distribution for Picade Max but I’ve got a simple question. I boot off my SD card and everything looks great. When in hit a button it asks me to configure input and I move the left joystick up, down, left and right but when I exit I can’t move around the menus.
It’s seemed simple but have I missed a trick?
sdl2-jstest is seeing the stick at +/- 127 on the up and left axis.
Hi - I got it working in Batocera 40 and 41 (currently on 42 for other reasons to do with ROM compatibility but that’s another story). Try adding this to the bottom of your es_config.cfg file
Did you add that up under /userdata/system/configs/emulationstation/es_input.cfg?
Also did you have to setup the dtoverlay in the config.txt?
I did the two previous things without success, same inputConfig and dtoverlay=picade yet my picade max usb controller aint working nor showing on lsusb nor dmesg im afraid. Does yours always have the red light on?
For anyone checking this forum, I reverted all changes to es_input.cfg and config.txt. Simply updated the firmware in Picade Max USB Controller and it worked with Batocera 39.
