Pico and Pico2 PWM Channels

Hi,
I have a Raspberry Pi 4b which I use to control strings of WS2812 LED’s. The RPi4b has 4 PWM channels of which only 2 can be independantly used to control the LEDs (12 or 18 and 13 or 19). The Raspberry Pi Pico and Pico2 have 16 and 24 channels respectively but I can’t found out if these are hardwar or spotware channels. Can you please let me now how many of the PWM channels on the two Pico’s are harware channels and if poosible how many can be used to control the WS2812 LED strings.
Many thanks,
Colin Winton

The Pico has eight hardware channels, each with two sub-channels. The datasheet gives you all the details. Adafruit has a breakout that lets you easily control multiple strips, see Overview | TLC5947 and TLC59711 PWM LED Driver Breakouts | Adafruit Learning System
