Pirate Audio stereo amp: disabling screen, shairport-sync

I’ve set up the Pirate Audio stereo amplifier and hooked up an old speaker. It seems to work fine. I have a couple of questions though:

  1. I’m wondering if I can turn off the display (while still having the buttons)?
  2. Can I install shairport-sync alongside Mopidy without any issues

Regarding the first item, I just unplugged the display cable…

Hi all!

Screen backlight control on/off or dimming is quite important, I also wonder whether this screen/driver allows it. Does anybody know? @gadgetoid maybe you know?
