Raspberry Pi 5 batch timings

Hi,

I can see on your pre-order page that batch 1 of 8GB Pi 5s is all orders before “midnight 28th September”. Can you clarify whether that means midnight on the night between the 27th and 28th or midnight between the 28th and 29th? I’m assuming it must be the latter as it hadn’t been announced by the former, but wanted to confirm!

We should have said 23:59, right? :D
It was the launch day. In the end, the only difference between batch 1 and 2 is where the boards went after they leave the Sony factory in Wales and before they come to us. So it’s a continuum of tranches from hereon out.
