If your Pi Zero looks like it’s not booting, or powering up; read on…
It’s quite usual for the Pi Zero to not work with existing SD cards, including the current NOOBS SD cards, or older versions of all Raspberry Pi operating systems.
The Pi Zero does not have a power LED, if you attempt to power it on without an SD card nothing will happen. This is normal.
Please try downloading the latest version of Raspbian Jessie from here:
And following the relevant installation guide here:
That should get your Pi Zero up and running.
Once you’ve booted up, if you’re running a desktop OS you should navigate into Menu -> Preferences -> Raspberry Pi Configuration and make sure to expand your filesystem.
If you’re running on the command-line, you can do this with sudo raspi-config
