Reboots before startup finished

I built the Pirate Radio kit and installed the VLC player according to the Internet Radio tutorial using “curl https://get.pimoroni.com/vlcradio | bash”. The Pi boots up OK on its own but with the DAC plugged in it gets part way through booting, the speaker clicks and then the Pi reboots.

Ah. Figured it out. 5V supply did not have a high enough power output. Switched to a 2A adapter and all is well.

Ah. Figured it out. The 5V supply did not have a high enough current rating. Switched to a 2A supply and all is well.
