Screen protector for pirate audio hat?

Hi does any have any advice on how to protect the fragile audio hat screen?

I would not worry too much. The screen is small and it if fixed - not like some other displays which you put on and pull like you do with a Pi-HAT. Of course, it can brake if bad things happen.

Anyhow, protection is possible. There are protective films which guard against scratches. Or you could add an acrylic glass cover. If you have a 3D-printer, you could also print a thin layer of transparent PETG with special settings, just google for “3D print transparent”. I did this myself and it works surprisingly good. But with any kind of protection, the screen will be less brilliant.

Yeah I was using for many months before the device I am working on slipped off my desk a few times and I managed to catch it each time but too much damage was done and I can see some cracks on the top of screen. Ordered a new one.

And working on a script to be able to use broken screen one via a web app.
