Tiny 2040 thonny connection

I have the Tiny 2040 and I connected it to my PC holding the boot button. I wanted to install micropython so I moved the rp2 file over onto the Tiny 2040 and it installed the file. I then open Thonny and try and connect using Thonnys Interpreter (Micropython) Raspberry Pi Pico. It wont connect and I cant figure out how. The Tiny 2040 has a blue LED lit and thats it.

Which Micro Python file? There are now custom versions for those boards.
Scroll down the page to find the correct one for the Tiny2040.
