X Hat Not Functioning

Finally assembled my Picade 10 inch cab. Everything went together as described and the cab and display looks amazing.

However, the installation of the x Hat software didn’t seem to result in a functioning device.

Once the script completed, I rebooted and began to configure my controller. Unfortunately the down left and right joystick directions do not register. Up + all the buttons register just fine.

Also the power button does not work. I have yet to try to configure audio.

As of this moment I have a non functioning brand new arcade cab.

Sounds like you might have the joystick connector plugged in the wrong way round - try flipping the connector 180° at the Picade X HAT end :)

That seems to have fixed it. It seems to work for everything except the power button on the side. The joystick, all buttons, and sound work great! the Power button does not. Any tips?

Good stuff!

Does the power button work to turn the Picade on? If not, I’d be double checking that it’s wired up correctly.
