I recently purchased a Samsung LTN121XL01-N03 and a controller board (eBay link to controller) from eBay and I’m having trouble with the display unclear. The screen is supposed to have a native resolution of 1024x768 but I’ve tried everything just about every setting change I could make and it looks terrible.
I’m talking with the controller board vendor but with the timezone difference, it’s been slow to resolve. Anyone have an idea of what the issue could be?
Have you tried explicitly setting the right video mode/resolution/etc in /boot/config.txt? Documentation here: https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/configuration/config-txt/video.md
Yes, I’ve tried hdmi_group=2 with various hdmi_modes.
Have you played with the lcd menu? Is there an auto adjust or a clock phase setting in there some where?
I did try the auto-adjust button, but it did not resolve anything. Also, I didn’t find a clock phase setting.
I’ve sense sent the controller board back to the vendor for them to review. I’ll report back with my findings!
