Broadcom usb hub

Hi,

I bought a Broadcom usb hub for my raspberry zero, and it hasn’t worked in any way since I bought it. I have a power supply but it’s not working in any way. Does anyone have ideas why it would not work?

I will have to return it if it is a goner,

what have you used to hook it up to the Pi? the shim we sell (when used the right way ‘up’), and an OTG cable should work, but not every means to go from USB-A to micro-USB are created equal so you need to give us more information.
