Broken 10 inch ribbon cable

I broke the ribbon cable attached to the 10 inch picade screen. It was the gold connector on the screen end, is there a way to salvage it and still use it? Or is a replacement needed?

Please take a close snapshot of the connector. It would make easier to suggest a fix

Since I’m sure now the cord is busted, does the screen connector itself look fine? Cause then I’ll just get a replacement cord.
