Hi guys, i’ve got the pimoroni explorer working with arduino ide using the arduino-pico board setup which contains a setup for our pimoroni explorer together with some drivers that i created with the help of claude.ai so i could do graphics using arduinogfx library.
I’m currently porting the crisp game lib portable from user abagames, a few years ago he made about 100 javascript one button games in a year, he also made a portable version which is in c/c++ but only contained about 16 games initially. Last year i did an sdl port and ported more games from javascript to c/c++ in that version and those games are included in the port i’m doing. Which gives us about 40 games or so.
I’ve got the port in a fairly working state as you can see in the video below, it just is not saving high scores yet, i’ll need to investigate how i can do that.
I’ve made repo here where if you want you can clone it and compile it for yourself in arduino ide if you like to give it a go. Eventually when i feel the port is done i’ll do a github release and provide a uf2 file for the pimoroni explorer directly
