Just installed pimoroni-pico-v1.20.4-micropython.uf2 and connected with Display 2.0 through Pico Omnibus. Downloaded balls_demo.py and replaced DISPLAY_PICO_DISPLAY by DISPLAY_PICO_DISPLAY_2 in lines 5 and 8. Ran the program, no reaction of display at all. Sample program rainbow.py after replacing DISPLAY_PICO_DISPLAY by DISPLAY_PICO_DISPLAY_2 in lines 5 and 8 paints only the lower half of the screen, not synchronously with the LED colour and does not display any text.
Did the Pico come with the header pre installed, or did you solder one on?
I solderd the header myself.
I also in another test observed Micropython 1.20 not working properly. Switching to 1.19.1 solved the problem.

Bummer that 120.4 glitched on you. No issues here, that I know of. with 120.4.
I have the smaller Display Pack (v1) that works fine.
Just downloaded the new 120.5, haven’t tried it yet though.
