Could someone please tell me how to connect a motor to the Explorer base. I could have sworn there was an example somewhere but I just can’t find it. Note. I don’t need the software just need to know how to connect it to the Explorer base. Many thanks in advance.
You plug the wires in where it says Motor. 1+ 1- is one motor and 2+ 2- is for a second motor. Assuming its a Pico Explorer Base.
In the end I found that I had two problems. 1. The motor encoder / connector board was loose so I was getting an intermittent connection. 2. I was re-using some existing code which was already doing some PWM so when it was working it was quite erratic.
All working now thanks although I have to get a replacement motor (didn’t purpose from Pimoroni).
