I have two of these displays that were recently purchased about a month apart. One works quite well, and the other is weird. Here is what I got connected to the exact sources of power and video.
I also noted that the way the cable connects to the displays is not quite the same. I don’t know if that means anything. The weird one is useless for me. I would appreciate any useful suggestions.

Have you double checked that the cable is correctly seated in the connector on the driver board?
If so, you might have a faulty screen panel - I think we’ve seen a couple of the ultra-rare ‘reversed screen’ variant :) Drop us an email at support@pimoroni.com with a link to this thread and we’ll get a replacement sorted.
(It would be helpful if you could swap the driver boards over, to double check that the fault follows the panel and it’s not the driver board causing problems!).
