Install PiCade Hat on existing Retropie install?

Hi! I just got my PiCade Hat, and I am a little nervous about running the install since I already have a fully operational Retropie / Attract Mode installation. Will running the PiCade hat install blow away my current installation, or will it keep all my non-control-related configurations in place?

go ahead, nothing in the installer will mess up your Retropie controller or non-controller related settings, it merely installs a daemon and handler for the keycode mapping of the GPIO.
