I just turned it on after like a year of it sitting there and im met with this screen (attached) can anyone tell me where to start in getting it running again. Bear in mind, I’m an idiot, so type slowly!
Thanks in advance!
If you have a spare mico sd card lying about, flash retropie onto it via your PC, then insert the micro sd card into your raspberry pi to see if your Picade boots up. If it does, then the existing micro sd (or whatever storage medium you are using) may be corrupted. Let us know how it goes.
Since you see stuff on the screen, likely it is fine. It’s when you can’t get anything out of a Pi at all that it is a bit more worrying. (And even then - particularly with a Pi Zero - a new SD card with a fresh image is the way to go. I thought I’d bricked a Zero last week, but it was just a zapped SD card).
Thanks everyone. I posted this a while ago ad the picade is in a cupboard at the mo. When i get a chance i will try a fresh card and see how it goes. Thanks for the help
