Hello Bro,
I’ve bought and opened the Hackberry-Pi_Zero :
h t t p s : / / g i t h u b . c o m /ZitaoTech/Hackberry-Pi_Zero
Let’s give a look at the pictures below. This is how how the display (4" 720X720 TFT) is connected to the board (Raspberry Pi Zero) :
h t t p s : / / i b b . c o/VbS0b7M
My idea is to remove that display and to use one HDMI / USB-C display of the same inches. For example with this model :
h t t p s : / / w w w .waveshare.com/8hp-caplcd-monitor.htm
but of 4 inches and the proper size. I don’t want any driver board behind the display.
I’m sure that in this case,FreeBSD will be able to boot and run (yeah,that’s my ultimate goal : install,boot and run FreeBSD on the HackBerry Pi Zero).
The dimensions of the default display is :
width = 7.5 cm
height = 8 cm
the new display should fit perfectly inside this frame :
h t t p s : / / i b b . c o /GvKvHKzJ
I’m actively looking for a squared HDMI / USB-C display that can match those dimensions. It should look like this one :
h t t p s : / / i t . a l i e x p r e s s . c o m /item/1005006724749833.html
but 5 inches are too much for the space that’s available.
The display should be compact,it does not have an external HDMI board.
Even the one below is not good :
h t t p s : / / w w w . 3.5inch HDMI Capacitive Touch IPS LCD Display (E), 640×480, Audio jack | 3.5inch HDMI LCD (E)
because it is 3,5 inches and it’s too short. There’s some wasted “screen” space.
I would like to find a display at least with the same inches,but that can replace perfectly the default one.
Please share with me some good displays.
