when I put rpi pico into boot mode I can see the RPI-RP2 on my pc, but when I copy the pimoroni-pico-v1.18.4-micropython uf2 file onto it, it doesn’t reappear, am I missing something?
That’s normal, if your using Micro Python. In Micro Python it doesn’t show up as a storage device. You can still upload files to it in Thonny using the file menu.
when I try to save anything Thonny give a message saying “device is busy”
Click the Stop button, then try again.

You may have to hit stop more than once sometimes. Putting a reset button on the Pico helps too.
