No USB keyboard, can I use a bluetooth keyboard?

Hi, have dusted off my PiCade after a couple of years and updated to a clean install of the latest retropie.
Looking to perform the initial setup again, but I no longer have a USB keyboard so can’t connect to wi-fi, set key mappings etc. Can I use a separate bluetooth keyboard right away in place of the USB equivalent to do this, if I put the BT receiver into one of the spare USB slots on the Pi?

not sure if you can ,but i don’t think it would hurt anything to plug it in and try .it may pick it up ,may not, don’t think it will though
