As the title really, will the nvme base work with the Pibow coupe case ‘out of the box’ or will the stand offs need elongating to fit?
If you attach it to the bottom Pibow layer, I would say no.
Assuming the Ribbon Cable will reach.
And you might have to drill 4 holes in that layer for the screws.
If you want to bolt it to the Pi 5, and keep all the Pibow layers, I’d say yes.
Assuming the Ribbon Cable will reach. Your going to need longer standoffs.
And need to drill holes in the bottom layer for them to go through to the Pi.
If you want to mount it in the stock position, I’d say your going to have to remove at least the bottom Pibow layer.
I’m assuming you’re already done with this, but if not, I wrote up on what I did here: Modifying Coupe 5 case to fit Pi5 + NVME base
I went for a side by side setup.

@RobTheRed & @alphanumeric Both of your approaches look good, but I’d feel more comfortable using a case hat fits from the get go with the base, so as it stands the nvme base is just sitting idle on the shelf gathering dust. I also need to figure out why the pi is now no longer booting, but thats an issue for a different thread.
