Phat DAC install - no default audio

Just got this board on an A+ 256 with the latest Jessie and ran the script you provide. However, there is no blacklist file and although your test routine works, the only application that can see the board is Audacity
(which is using ALSA)
Audio device settings says ’ no ALSA device detected’. Alsamixer shows the DAC though. aplay -l shows it too.

I’ve tried all the tweaking I know to get the a default Alsa device with this card, but it just won’t work.

Any ideas??

Ok, I installed a bunch of ALSA utils and ran the install script again and tried a few audio apps. and they seem to work. Audio settings still says there is no device, and there is no main volume control.

I guess this is just the way it works…
