We are looking to use the picolipo for a project in Tanzania, off grid.
Buying or shipping lipo or Li-ion will be hard. However, phone replacement batteries will be readily available.
Any thoughts on whether that would work to power the Picolipo? (phone batteries are quite complicated, so while they are the right type in theory, it may not work in practice)
Also, would the charging circuits be able to charge the phone battery again?
I expect the answers will be “it depends” - looking forward to your views!
