That I would think would be up to the Pi Foundation.
It’s been mentioned on the Pi Foundation forum and was meet with silence for the Pi Foundation. You may get other colors like black or grey, but I wouldn’t hold your breath waiting on much more than that. That’s the feeling I got.
It would be a lot of work for anybody else to do it. You’d have to strike a deal to just buy the Pi440 circuit board and probably the keyboard to make it cost efective. Otherwise you’d have lots of plastic bits going to the recycler.
