Hdmi No Signal

Hi, I just finished up my setup for the new PICADE. All seemed ok. However I am getting a No Signal on the HDMI. I double checked the Raspberry pi and the cables. I also tried connecting a console to the hdmi port with the same result. Did i get a defective screen? Anything else I can check.

Hi You need to add hdmi_force_hotplug=1 To your config.txt file The issue is caused by powering the display from the Pi which means the display is powered after the Pi and the Pi auto detect chooses the composite output instead of HDMI. Cheers Paul
